MY SAHEL

My Sahel is a musical and visual offering that reflects the spirit of Conscious Music Group — bringing together six iconic artists from the Sahel region: Vieux Farka Touré, Amadou & Mariam, Tal National, Oumy, Bassekou Kouyaté, and Songhoy Blues. In collaboration with 15 visual artists from across Africa and the diaspora — led by renowned African-American multi-hyphenate Jamel Robinson — the project serves as both an artistic tribute and a humanitarian call. My Sahel is an ongoing campaign to raise urgent funds and awareness for the Sahel region, using decentralised, transparent tools and open-source protocols to ensure that support flows directly to the communities who need it most.
